Within the scope of the job, construction includes environmental safety and heat channel construction, hangar building construction, cable channel and manhole constructions, sewage line, foundation drainage, drinking water pipeline construction, tower building, access road, parking lot and landscaping construction, runway, apron and taxiway construction, field drainage construction, transformer-generator building construction, rainwater displacement construction, fire brigade building-water tank construction and landscaping, underground drainage construction, field and infrastructure installations, runway lighting, runway electrical infrastructure and transformer installations.
The main runway is 2318 m long and 45 m wide, with 30 tons of plain and ribbed iron and 20 tons of mesh steel used during construction. 170,000 tons of base and sub-base layers were used. 32,000 m3 of special concrete (350 doses) were used, requiring 70,000 tons of aggregate for its production.
The shoulder width is 7.5 m, and 5100 tons of bituminous aggregate binder layer were applied on the shoulders.
The secondary runway is 2168 m long and 30 m wide, with a shoulder width of 3 m. During construction, 18 tons of plain and ribbed iron, 20 tons of mesh steel, 93,000 tons of sub-base and base layers were laid. 19,500 m3 of special concrete (350 doses) were used, requiring approximately 38,000 tons of aggregate. A 1000-ton bituminous asphalt binder layer was applied.
A hangar building consisting of 3000 m2 reinforced concrete technical personnel section and 5000 m2 steel construction helicopter section has been constructed. Approximately 1250 tons of structural steel were used in the building construction.
